Jobs: MMus Scholarships at University College Dublin (Historical Musicology, Ethnomusicology, Composition & Practice-Based Research), Deadline 17.06.2026
The School of Music at University College Dublin has extended the application deadline for the six scholarships for 2026/27 MMus in Music and Culture applicants. To be eligible, students should now apply for the MMus programme before *Wednesday 17 June 2026.*
Those awarded will be given a partial fee waiver for the programme. There are two types of awards available:
- Non-EU students will receive a fee waiver of €5,000
- EU students (including Ireland) will receive a fee waiver of €2,000
Two fee scholarships will be available in each of the three strands of specialisation covered in the course:
- The Harry White Scholarships in Historical Musicology
- The UCD School of Music Scholarships in Ethnomusicology
- The UCD School of Music Scholarships in Composition and Practice-Based Research
*Application Process*
In order to be eligible for the School’s fee waiver scholarships, applicants should submit their application (link below) to UCD’s MMus programme by *Wednesday 17 June** 2026*. There is no separate application process for these scholarships. All applicants who submit their application for the MMus in Music and Culture by the deadline will be automatically considered. Candidates will be notified of the results of the scholarship
competition within two weeks of the deadline.
